Wrestling is a business. We rise and fall by how "over" we are with the crowd. How hard do they boo or cheer? Athleticism is good...getting over is great. You will use your skills to do more than "win". Hell, it's up to the Booker who WINS. It's up to you to get OVER. And that means using your charisma, your cunning, your wits, your friends...whatever you can do to make yourself look good and make the company look great.

Ok, you had a good run on the Indy circuit, and it seems Mr. Knight wants me to sign you to a contract. Huh? Oh, yes, ok. So you must know that the Sheer Wrestling League is owned and operated by Trenton Knight. Really rich guy....kinda rough around the edges....and he hired ME to run the day to day operations of the league. So I'm your conduit to him. No, you can't meet him. That's probably good for you. We know you have "skills"...but let me tell you the 2 most important things about being here: How popular you get, and how well you play your office politics. So keep getting heat with the crowd...positive or heel heat, doesnt matter...and you'll see your stock rise. And feel free to complain, maneuver, suggest and threaten. Well, I wouldn't really threaten anyone unless it's Kayfabe. But you know what I mean. I set up the card each week, and you go into the ring and execute. What happens in between is almost entirely up to...you!

I am on board with your blog about the "brand split". The only difference between RAW and SmackDown, for the most part, are brand colors. When workers move from show to show it's not an "oh wow!" moment. When they move from NXT to RAW or SD, it DOES feel like a big deal.
